In Memory of Brittany Murphy

FILM star Brittany Murphy died yesterday of a suspected heart attack, aged 32.

Sources said the actress - best known for her role in 8 Mile with rapper Eminem and Hollywood legend Kim Basinger - was taken ill at her home in Los Angeles.

Her mother Sharon Murphy is believed to have found her in the shower but paramedics were unable to save her.

Brittany was pronounced dead at the city's Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre.

Rumours about eating disorders related to a cocaine habit had surrounded the star, though she strongly denied it.
